About Me – That Arkansas Dad

Hey there! I’m Chris Uting—aka That Arkansas Dad. I’m a father of four, a husband, a handyman, a podcast host, and just a regular guy trying to navigate the chaos of life with a good sense of humor and a lot of heart.
I grew up in Arkansas and proudly call it home. My days are filled with school drop-offs, DIY projects, coaching, working with senior centers, and making sure snacks are always stocked. Parenting isn’t always pretty, but it’s real—and that’s exactly what I share. Whether it’s a messy moment, a funny dad fail, or a deep reflection, I believe in showing up authentically and loving my family fiercely.
You’ll find me on Instagram sharing the unfiltered parts of dad life, on Facebook connecting with our community, and behind the mic on my podcast Crickets & Rocking Chairs—where I capture the stories, wisdom, and humor of senior citizens who’ve lived full lives with lessons worth hearing.
I also run Porchlight Digital, helping small businesses and local centers grow their social media presence, and I stay handy through HammerTime Handyman Services.
If you're here to laugh, relate, cry a little, or work together—welcome. I’m glad you’re here.
Let’s make something meaningful.
